Who I help

I work with a diverse range of clients, including those seeking support for general mental health, anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, neurodivergence, trauma, and LGBTQIA+ issues. My neuro-affirmative approach ensures a supportive and understanding environment for everyone. I also work with SEND adults and children and approach with empathy and safeguarding at the core of my practice.

Positive outcomes

Clients often experience significant positive transformations through art therapy. This includes a greater understanding of self, a boost in confidence, and improved self-esteem. Creative-based therapies will help you unlock your potential and navigate life's challenges with resilience.

A unique approach

Art therapy with me is a fully creative process tailored to each client's unique interests. Using a range of materials, including watercolours, pencils, pens, and paints, we will collaboratively explore your needs and goals, ensuring a therapeutic journey that is both expressive and fulfilling.

What will a session look like?

I offer 50 minute sessions as a standard. We will work together to agree on a time for our appointment which will be regular weekly sessions for the full 50 minutes.

I will provide art supplies for our sessions, you are welcome to bring your own or request specific materials and I will do my best to accommodate, where possible. Due to limitations of spaces, I may not always be able to provide the requested materials, but I will ensure you are aware if this is the case.

We will talk, discuss your circumstances, emotions, celebrations or problems, whatever you wish to bring to the sessions. Everything will be client led and low pressure to help you feel comfortable and safe with the space. You do not always have to talk. You may create artwork during the sessions that will do the talking for you and I may ask questions.

All artworks created will be kept stored safely with me, I will bring your work out every session or have them nearby so they can be revisited anytime.

I will set reminders 10 minutes and 5 minutes before the end of the sessions, and then we say our goodbyes for the week.

This is just a blueprint, things can change and be adaptable to how you would like your sessions. If you would like to explore further, please contact me and we can arrange a consultation into what you are looking for.
